GREEN SUPPLIER SELECTION BASED ON THE INFORMATION SYSTEM PERFORMANCE EVALUATION USING THE INTEGRATED BEST-WORST METHOD

Information Systems (IS) have become crucial for all the organizations to survive in contemporary technology-oriented environment. Consequently, number of companies and which invested widely their IS infrastructures present better services produce higher value products is increasing. On other hand, nowadays, because increase governmental rules serious requirements more people case environmental protection, it seems necessary enterprises follow these regulations if they want global markets. However, what at issue here not just companies’ agreement with laws; addition, should apply some strategies decrease negative impacts countries. Thus, aforementioned arguments are reasons compulsory use green supplier selection (GSS) firms. Considering mentioned contents, purpose this study representation relation between ISs GSS as two vital components firms a novel way has been done before. Actually, shows ISs' performance or effectiveness select suppliers taking into account different levels importance measures (including eight criteria 31 sub-criteria), using multi-criteria decision-making method called Best Worst Method (BWM) identify weights (importance) compute 10 company data gathered survey from experts.
